Hello there. How’s it going? So, you were making your way through a humungous (digital) pile of applications and résumés when you stumbled upon little ol’ me. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen of the hiring committee. Please situate yourselves on comfortable furnishing and prepare to be moderately dazzled!

 

Before we get into the nitty gritty of who I am and what I bring to the table and why you should definitely go ahead and hire me, let’s set the scene and go over the guidelines. Born and raised in Mumbai, India, I left everything and everyone I knew behind at the tender age of 17 to go to America in hopes of forging a career in entertainment publicity (which is where you come in, obviously).

 

Now, I can sit here and tell you how I graduated with my bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in 3.5 years with two minors, or how I am passionate and hardworking and motivated to succeed. But we’d both know that’s just clichéd buzzwords that you’ve read at least 50 times in the last two hours. Instead, I will attempt to break the monotony of your day and show off my taste in tv shows by cataloguing my personality via iconic pop culture quotes.

Just like Gerri, I am an expert in making the most impact in the least number of words required. I’m stone cold in a crisis and always on the lookout for the best opportunities for me and my clients.

I believe in the power of failure: without mistakes, it is impossible to grow and improve yourself. Evaluating past errors is conducive to creativity and coming up with better ideas. I am resilient and can find my footing in hostile situations.

If there’s one thing Amy Brookheimer and I have in common, it’s our dedication to work. I am persistent and laser-focused on any project I undertake. I crave perfection and work single-mindedly to achieve it. The leadership experience that I have gained through my academic careers and extracurricular efforts has made me an expert in managing strategy, collaborating with diverse teams, and delegating tasks.
